Harmony Inn Restoration Grant & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
The Harmony Inn, a historic restaurant and inn located in Harmony, PA, is proud to announce that it has received a grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express as part of the Backing Historic Small Restaurants initiative. The grant will be used to fund repairs and restoration efforts to the historic building. “We are extremely grateful to receive this grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express,” said Bob McCafferty , owner of The Harmony Inn. “The Harmony Inn is a treasured landmark in our community, and we take great pride in preserving its rich history for generations to come. The grant helped us make necessary repairs and upgrades to the building, ensuring that it remains a cherished destination for many years to come.” The Harmony Inn has been a staple in the community for over 150 years, providing a comfortable atmosphere, delicious food, and welcoming accommodations for travelers and locals alike. The grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express will helped support ongoing restoration efforts, including repairs to the soffit, exterior of the building and re-glazing of windows.
To celebrate the completion of the restoration project, The Harmony Inn will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 16th, 2023, at 3 PM. The ceremony will feature the debut of a new sign and highlight the improvements made to the building. The ribbon-cutting will be performed by Bob & Jodi McCafferty, Owners of The Harmony Inn. After the ribbon-cutting, guests will be treated to live music.
