Saturduos: The Jive Daisy
We’re so excited to welcome The Jive Daisy, a one of a kind acoustic string experience, to Saturduos! Every song you will hear is a custom arrangement made for violin and guitar. Their diverse repertoire has everything from 90’s grunge to jazz standards.
The duo consists of Katie (violin) and Ryan (guitar) Black. Katie started off as a classical violinist, but now performs the rock-style of the Jive Daisy and also bluegrass with The Shameless Hex. Ryan has performed a variety of styles (and instruments) over his music career–when he’s not playing guitar, he plays bass in the funky jam-band, The Sun Champs.
